Our Story

Picture of Our Story

It started with a shot in the dark. November 2018. Bryan sent a Facebook message during a cold snap, half joking about road safety. Tiffany admitted she was a terrible driver, and Bryan replied, “Then I’ll be watching out for you.” She told him to stay inside, and he said, “Maybe I want to stay in with you.” That quick back-and-forth made her laugh, and that was enough for her to give him her number.

They texted constantly. Just a couple weeks later, they met in person for the first time on Thanksgiving Day. Looking back, meeting on a major holiday after only talking for a few weeks was a bold move, but it fit them. They clicked easily, bonding over shared values, big dreams, and the experience of raising sons around the same age. They watched Logan Lucky, made each other laugh, and talked about life like they’d known each other forever.

They saw each other a few more times, but life was pulling hard in other directions. Tiffany was getting ready to start nursing school. Bryan was stepping into what would become his career. The timing wasn’t quite right—so things naturally cooled off. But the connection lingered.

A few months later, they reconnected. One visit turned into something more. This time, the timing felt right. There was no hesitation, just a mutual sense that this was something real. They picked an anniversary date and fell into their rhythm: movie nights, Walmart runs, Redbox DVDs, and late-night snacks. With full schedules, the living room became their theater, and those quiet nights became the backdrop for something much bigger.

It wasn’t always easy. But something about them; maybe the old-soul connection, maybe just sheer determination, kept pulling them back together. Through every test and every milestone, they kept choosing each other. Love didn’t always look like fireworks, but it always looked like commitment. Showing up. Fighting for the life they were building.

They might be among the last of their friends to tie the knot, but for them, marriage isn’t just a next step. It’s a sacrament. A promise built not on perfection but on persistence, and a story that’s still being written.
